Installations

The Lodges are delivered to you on a pre-arranged day and assembled on your base by our expert fitters. We assemble as much as possible before we come so that we can fit your lodge in a day.

''Just a quick note to say thank you for a super job in installing our BBQ lodge - so tidy and efficient. We used it this evening and we are so pleased with it.''

Before your lodge is fitted you will need to provide us with a level base. This can be a concrete or wooden base depending on your garden. See plans and sizes for more details. It is best to have a chat with us about the best type of base for your site, we can provide advice and an easy way to measure up for a six sided base.

A wooden frame can be provided by us for the lodge to sit on if it is to be placed on a hard standing like a patio or existing concrete pad which is not the correct shape.

Electricity
We have connected electricity to our own lodge so we can enjoy music and soft lighting. Lots of people personalise their lodges by adding cushions, rugs, fridge and other small items of furniture to make them even cosier and more convenient to use.

Timber treatment
To protect your lodge from all that the British weather has in store, we recommend that you protect the outside of your lodge with Sadolin or similar, using at least two coats initially and then an annual coat thereafter.
The floor inside can be protected with a suitable varnish or coating to make it easier to clean.
The interior is best left natural so that the wood can breath.

''We absolutely love our lodge, it brings a smile to our faces every time we go into it. Have had friends and family in and everyone really impressed. Thankyou so much for excellent service. ''
